Write up for Little Wing Gig

Experience Hendrix With Little Wing
A great night for Hendrix fans is in store when "Little Wing " return for what I think is there fourth appearance at Grimsby's Spiders Web on Friday 14th April.
The trio is fronted by Bob Barton on guitar and vocals who was originally a member of 70's rock band " Beckett ", who had a recording deal with "WEA Records" and toured with the likes of Slade and The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.
Bob's from the gritty north east musical melting pot and has worked with many of the artists from Tyneside including the late Alan Hull from Lindisfarne and Brian Johnson of AC/DC and has toured and recorded with legendary folk guitarist Bert Jansch.
Also in "Little Wing" are Terry Ollis on drums , a founder member of Hawkwind who played on their first two albums. Terry has also had stints with those musical terrorists "The Pink Fairies" and "Deep Fix".
On bass guitar is Yorkshireman Terry Peaker who has toured and recorded with a wide range of artists since the 60's. This includes people like Champion Jack Dupree, The Walker Brothers and even Billy Ocean!
Apart from the sounds the trio also go in for the Experience era look complete with Noel Redding wig! Admission is £5 on the door and it's a case of arrive early to avoid disappointment.
